I have worked for both captive and independent planning firms and have come to know that client needs take precedence over captive company or wire house proprietary products. That is why I founded Step Up Wealth Management, LLC and selected an independent hybrid broker dealer as a partner in my practice. Hybrid simply means I can provide more robust, comprehensive, and independent options for clients by being a Limited Partner with United Planners. Our mutual emphasis puts client needs first.
Step Up Wealth Management, LLC was created to bring our clients a step by step process that is as sophisticated as needed without being overly complicated. We speak client lingo! We utilize independent money managers, planning software and educational workshops that address client needs and help them to be more certain of their wealth, estate and retirement plans.
I maintain my Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) & Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation as well as my Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC) designation and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation. These designations help me provide sound and comprehensive planning as well as to provide fiduciary processes and plans for more complex plans. My focus is on individuals and organizations with wealth accumulation, preservation, and retirement planning as the focus.
I am married to my best friend and partner in the business of 35+ years, have 2 well rounded married adult children, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 14 laying chickens! I enjoy golf, cooking, wine tasting and travel.
