David is experienced in retirement planning and loves to hear what people hope to achieve in their lives. His sweet spot is listening well and then designing plans that address each person’s goals and dreams.
David studied business at Buffalo State College in New York and served as captain of the Toledo Junior Storm championship hockey team of the CEHL. His minor league professional ice hockey career continued with the Huntsville Channel Cats (SEHL), where David captured his second championship. He also had stints for the ECHL’s Toledo Storm (farm team for the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings) and the ECHL’s Pensacola Ice Pilots (farm team for the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning).
David values the legacy of family and named his company after his mother, Cathy Lynn Cadarette, who died when David was only 18.
David is passionate about educating the public areas that have the most impact in people’s lives which are, in his opinion, finances.
In his free time, David likes to fish, camp, hike, play music and go boating. He lives in northern Michigan with his beautiful wife, Victoria, and their four wonderful children. The family also has two golden retrievers, Ruby and Jasper.
