I developed my interest in personal finance early on in my childhood. What started out as picking stocks and following the financial markets, to reading books about real estate and rental properties, would ultimately develop into a passion for financial planning with a focus on helping retirees.
Prior to joining my current firm Bridge The Gap Retirement Planners, I worked for Charles Schwab for over a decade, where I managed a large client practice, providing portfolio management and financial planning advice to clients of all ages.
In recent years, I’ve turned my focus to helping only those in retirement and transitioning to retirement. It’s an exciting and fun life stage to be a financial planner in. With all the financial changes and decisions that go on in a person’s life, I enjoy putting together the pieces of the puzzle and helping that individual or couple live their very best retirement.
I holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, a Master’s Degree in Personal Financial Planning, and most notably I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANER™.
I have always had a passion for teaching and passing on the information I’ve learned to others that are seeking it and AFEA gives me the opportunity to do so.
I’m originally from Milwaukee, WI and am a proud Cheesehead. I now live in Phoenix, Arizona with my wife, 14-year-old stepson, and our 3 year-old son.
