Learn More About My Journey and Why I Do What I Do

I grew up in rural Oregon, where life was shaped by the ebb and flow of my father’s work as a logger. His contracts rarely lasted more than a year, which meant he didn’t have access to workplace benefits like a 401(k). Toward the end of his career, he worked for a small family-owned operation where he finally had his first and only 401(k).

Then came the dot-com bust of the early 2000s. Every month, he would open his statements and feel devastated. He’d say things like, “I’m losing everything” or “Most of my retirement is gone.” I’d reassure him, saying, “Dad, don’t do anything—it will recover.” But he didn’t understand the market or his investments. One day, overwhelmed by fear, he cashed out his account, locking in a 50% loss.

This is why I do what I do.

I want my clients to not only have a solid financial plan but also to truly understand their investments and how they fit into their broader goals. My mission is to empower them with knowledge so they can make informed decisions and avoid unnecessary mistakes.

As a financial planner, I specialize in helping people prepare for retirement and make smarter financial choices. I provide education, guidance, and solutions tailored to their unique needs—not generic, one-size-fits-all plans. Together, we create personalized retirement income strategies that reflect your individual goals and priorities.

About Me:
