Nick Callesen graduated from Central Michigan University in 1992 with a degree in Finance and has worked as a financial advisor ever since. A firm believer in lifelong learning, Nick has continued to expand his expertise by earning both his Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designations.
Being dedicated to lifelong learning, Nick is passionate about helping others who are seeking to learn more about their finances. During his 34-year career, he has conducted over 200 educational events and instructed thousands of students, clients and prospective clients on financial matters.
Many of us have heard the quote, “Knowledge is power” but according to Nick, that is not accurate. The truth is that “Applied knowledge is power”. One can have knowledge but, if they don’t know how to apply it, the knowledge is useless.
Thus, his goal in teaching is to not only empower people with knowledge and new insights, but to help them apply their knowledge.
