Mona Montano has been serving her local community as a licensed professional in many different capacities over the last 11 years after returning from Southern California. She moved to California to pursue a career in Fashion Design and stayed for the sun. While pursuing her degree she realized she wanted to do more and chose to continue her education and obtained a dual degree from San Diego State University and Universidad de Valparaiso in International Business with an emphasis in Latin America. She has continued to be a life long learner in all things real estate, insurance, retirement planning, taxes, estate planning, and business.
One of her greatest skillsets is being able to visualize complex systems and models to understand what will happen when something changes. It is this skill that helps her to be able to evaluate a retirement plan and identify the possible holes or gaps. Each client has a unique situation, therefore it requires a customized plan. The heartbeat of all she does is operating from integrity while providing excellent service and being transparent.
Mona lives in Hillsboro, Oregon with her husband Chris, where they are raising their 3 kids, Brayden, Myliana and Myles. In their free time they enjoy serving at their local church, camping, hiking, kayaking, swimming, and sports. She loves to travel somewhere at least once a quarter and has been known to jump out of a perfectly good plane.
