After meeting and speaking with so many people over the years, including people within his own extended family, He was surprised at the number of people who have no type of planning in place for a successful retirement. In many cases, they did not know where to go for help.
As a result, it has become a passion for Don to give back to the community through classroom teaching sessions to help them identify the threats to their retirement and educate them on ways to address those threats and achieve their retirement goals and dreams through proper planning.
As a Licensed Fiduciary, and Investment Advisor Representative, Don’s recommendations must and are always in the best interest of his clients.
Don has been in the Financial Services profession for over 35 years and has successfully completed studies in both Investment Planning and Finance from North Carolina State University.
On a Personal note, Don is one of 4 children born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina. Prior to his wife’s passing, Don was married for over 34 years and has two wonderful sons and a beautiful granddaughter.
