Dr. Kimberly Turner is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER who is uniquely positioned to offer comprehensive financial planning. She specializes in retirement planning and healthcare planning.
Dr. Turner’s interest in financial planning was piqued at a very young age. It stemmed from her passion to help families to develop financial freedom and financial security! Her goal is to help at least one family a day to become a little happier, healthier, wiser, and wealthier!
She is the founder and President of Retirement Planning Doctors. She is also an adjunct professor at California Lutheran University and The American College of Financial Services. She teaches graduate level courses in financial planning, investment planning, insurance/ risk management, and retirement income planning.
She obtained a dual Ph.D. in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning from the American College in 2019.
She holds numerous licenses and registrations in the areas of real estate, mortgages, investments and insurance and I hold financial industry renown designations, Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), Certified Long-term Care (CLTC®).
Dr. Turner entered the financial industry in 1998 as a real estate developer. Then subsequently, she became the broker/owner of a top producing multi-office real estate company that received numerous awards. During this time, she became the owner/managing partner of a real estate title company and a mortgage company. After the great recession, she transitioned into the capital market and risk management sectors in 2009 to help clients build more diverse wealth portfolios.
Prior to becoming a real estate developer/real estate broker, her interest in healthcare and affordable medicine led her to pursue studies in Health and Science at the University of Florida. After completing my studies to become a physician assistant, she practiced within the field of internal medicine.
She has been married to Daryl Turner, MD since 1991. They reside in Florida and are the proud parents of three wonderful sons, two are physicians and one is a financial advisor.
She enjoys learning, teaching, interior decorating, floral arranging, tennis, walking, chess, traveling, fine dining and hosting parties.
Her community involvement has included, Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, the Affordable Housing Council, and the Financial Planning Association.
She brings a kind, caring, friendly style as well as a great fund of knowledge when serving the financial and retirement needs of families!
