Michael A. Watkins has been a serial entrepreneur most of his adult life. Having employed over fifty people in the 1980’s and 90’s, Michael is attuned to people’s desire to improve the quality of life and financial stability. He also understands how difficult it can be to work a job, raise a family, get ahead, and save for the future all at the same time.
Michael sold his business in 1999 and started trading his own stock and commodity accounts and he also bought and sold real estate. Additionally, Michael designed and manufactured golf tools and accessories and he holds a US Patent and Trademark..
In 2009 he started searching for ways to secure a safe retirement and what he encountered was, in his own words, “Too much conflicting messaging and an obvious slant towards selling proprietary products and services”. Michael’s inherent ability to problem solve immediately kicked in. He says, “If someone like myself who researches things down to the ridiculous was having difficulty reaching a confident decision there must be thousands of others out there as well”.
Michael started to sense he was headed in a new direction and he was right. Fast forward to today and Michael is the Principal of Tampa Bay Advisory, LLC in Oldsmar, Florida. Michael has successfully passed the series 65 examination which qualifies him as a legal Fiduciary and he is also a Registered Financial Consultant. Michael is licensed in Life, Health and Annuities in the state of Florida and multiple states as well.
Michael is married to his bride Annie and they have three grown children and seven grandchildren. “The richness of life has come to me through love”. I love God, my wife and family. I also love what I do for a living. Being able to share in my client’s success is such a gratifying experience and I intend to continue this path for as long as the Lord allows me to.
