AFEA Welcomes New Chapter President

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Cranford, NJ, February 29, 2016- The American Financial Education Alliance, a national advocate for greater financial literacy, announced today that its Board of Directors unanimously voted to name Gregory Dillon as the new Chapter President of AFEA’s Cranford Chapter.

 

Greg graduated cum laude from the Fairfield University Honors Program with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting. He began his career in the financial services industry in 2005. Prior to joining Atlas Advisory Group, LLC in 2012, Greg worked at UBS Investment Bank as a trader on the fixed income desk. In 2010, he completed the third level of the CFA program and currently holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He also holds FINRA licenses 7 and 63 as well as licenses for life and health insurance. Greg is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), is certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC), and holds the NSSA (National Social Security Advisor) designation. Greg resides in Colts Neck, New Jersey with his wife, Brenna. Outside of his professional efforts he enjoys golf, tennis, reading, and travel.

 

As Chapter President, Greg will be hosting free financial education workshops throughout the Cranford community. The Cranford Chapter will also be fundraising to support other local charities. Fifteen percent of all funds raised by AFEA will be donated to local charities with similar missions and causes within the chapter area. Greg has nominated The Make-a-Wish Foundation to receive all 15% of the funds raised. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a 501 non-profit organization founded in the United States that arranges experiences described as "wishes" to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
