Tom Hine is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and Certified Fund Specialist® (CFS®) and a 25-year veteran of the financial services industry. He is the founder and owner of Capital Wealth Management, LLC, which has offices in Glastonbury and Wilton, CT. Tom’s journey in wealth management started after he graduated with his MBA from the University of Connecticut in 1986.

Tom is an author of two books, NASD Arbitration Solution: Five Black Belt Principles to Protect and Grow Your Financial Services Practice and The Zen of Business Acquisitions. A third book, The Balanced Wealth Approach:  The Secrets to Living Long and Living Rich, covering the intersection between health and wealth, is scheduled to be published with Forefront Publishing in early 2023.

Tom is also a 4th-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate. He has been practicing his craft for more than 35 years and has studied under the esteemed likes of Sensei Masataka Mori. He spent over ten years helping senior instructors with their teachings and has helped countless others learn Shotokan Karate.

Tom’s primary goal is to help others succeed in retirement planning, wealth management, and future mindfulness.
