Dean Haupt Biography
Dean Haupt was born and raised in Northern Minnesota’s Iron Range. After leading branches and divisions for national retailers and accounting firms, he established his own accounting business in 2009. After seeing the devastation caused by the Great Recession, both with clients and family members, Dean became a licensed retirement adviser. With over 20 years in the finance industry, his areas of expertise now include estate and retirement planning, wealth transfer, as well as insurance and income planning.
Dean focuses on personal financial planning and wealth preservation for those close to and already in retirement. He brings a passion for helping people identify, achieve, and protect their retirement lifestyle. He understands the complexities of the changing financial climate and will always make recommendations that are in the client’s best interests. He believes that every person should diagnose their current financial health just as they would their personal health. Through associations like AFEA, he is able to give back to the community through education and help guide Americans to a better retirement.
Dean resides in northern Minnesota, with his former supermodel wife and two dogs. When he is not working, Dean enjoys spending time with his wife and friends, fishing, hunting, off-roading and working on his remote property.
